I believe a true artist must be who they are in order to create their best work. It’s hard to be required to conform to someone’s else’s brand and create the art you are intended to. This is why I finally created Vibe Hair Suite. I hope to one day have stylists come along so I can help them find their own brand and help them grow on their path of creating the career of their dreams. This is because I was given this same opportunity by mentors who guided me in the right direction to find my strengths in my own art. I am SO thankful for my first mentor. My first mentor gave me the best possible start and taught me how to identify more mentors that made me a better artist as I grew in my career. I am still always looking to learn and grow in the hair industry no matter how far along I am. During my time teaching for beauty brands, I learned how fulfilling it can be to help another stylist. I would love to give back to other stylists needing this opportunity now that I am the owner of Vibe Hair Suite. As the hair industry changes so fast, it is hard for stylists to find a way to start. We have so many new business models that can be hard to understand and hard to choose from. I believe a new stylist will need one-on-one coaching to find their strengths in today’s market that is so hard.

In my career in the hair industry, I have educated for world renowned haircare and tech companies internationally and brought to market the most in-demand hair products, hair tools that remain sell out consumer products today.  I have worked on many TV shows, New York Fashion Week, and on various photo shoots for various fashion designers as a freelance stylist. I am a professional education designer for popular haircare brands, a top selling salon business author in our industry, and salon business consultant. I am also meta verified on Instagram as @katecutmyhair for being highly searchable for my hair industry work internationally. However, my favorite role is as a New Jersey hair stylist. I love teaching stylists how to have a career they LOVE and also how to find what they are best at. You just need to find your VIBE.
