Hi…

My name is Kate. I have become known as Katecutmyhair in the hair industry. It’s my professional name, brand and Instagram handle. I have been a hairstylist behind the chair in New Jersey and New York City my whole career. I have also educated for luxury haircare brands which gave me the opportunity to travel around the world. I have styled hair on TV, New York Fashion Week and enjoyed working on many photo shoots as an editorial hair stylists. As lucky as I am to have worked with many designers, celebrities, and brands, my favorite work is always with my loyal clientele close to my home in Union County. I grew up in Roselle Park, NJ catching a train to NYC or going to the movies in Westfield with my friends in high school. This area means a lot to me and that’s why I was so happy to come back living and working by my family and settling my life here. It has been the best career move I have ever made. When I am not doing your hair, you might run into me hiking Watchung Reservation with my husband Ryan and our dog River that we adopted from Eleventh Hour Rescue. What I like most about doing hair is when someone lights up in the mirror after seeing their new haircut or style. It brings out their true vibe. It is why I created Vibe Hair Suite. Everyone has their own unique vibe that no one else has no matter what we see on social media. I feel so proud when I can use my skills to unlock someone’s unique beauty and vibe.
